Counselor In Training (CIT) Program
The Counselor In Training (CIT) Program provides an amazing opportunity for young teens to spend their summer working with children and developing leadership skills. The program will teach invaluable skills for working with children in small groups, as well as working in larger groups in a camp setting. The program is a nine-week commitment, including 5 days a week with a camp group, and various social programming for the entire CIT cohort. CIT's are required to attend weekly full staff meetings, as well as age group and individual meetings. CIT's will receive community service credit and a JCC fitness center membership for the length of their volunteer experience in appreciation of their hard work. If you are interested, please call Carly Davis at 646.505.4413 or email her at cdavis@jccmanhattan.org Click on the link below to download the application: CIT Program Application (more)LEARN MORE

In this multi-session workshop, we'll go over the unique objectives and characteristics that make a college essay not only well-written, but also effective in helping you gain admission into the college of your choice. Students will brainstorm ideas, select a topic, write essay drafts, and receive personalized editing and feedback.
