Dr. Mark Bertin Dedicating the time to take care of yourself as a parent by building your stress management skills profoundly benefits both you and your family. Mindfulness is an evidence- based technique that facilitates overall well-being, cognitive flexibility, and communication skills, and is a proactive way to address the effects of stress on yourself and your children. The JCC in Manhattan and YAI/NYL/LIFESTART partner to present the annual Special Needs School Fair. Representatives from preschools, elementary, middle, and high schools serving the New York City special needs community will be onsite to provide information and answers to your questions. School materials will be available.
